In the Coincidences Series, Knight's paintings and drawings of local environs treat southern California like a Zen split screen TV. Images appear within images; one view abuts an associated view, each with a different color range, scale or point of view, all quietly intense. Coincidences provokes sensations of being in several places at once, physically, emotionally, psychologically or spiritually.
